My wife and I have become regulars here at Chubby Cattle Coming from a lot of great eateries in Socal, its hard to find great spots to satisfy our cravings in the Denver metro area. This was a lucky find for us, and we find ourselves frequenting this spot for our hot pot cravings. We've been to almost all the hot pot spots in the area, and I would definitely rate Chubby Cattle at the top of the list. They have great service as a bonus to tasty broths and meats. The quality of meat has not disappointed for any of our visits, and they are sliced just thin enough to be good and quick to cook, without breaking apart instantly in your chopsticks. The location can be tricky for parking, but you would either have metered parking or a one block walk from the neighborhood.

The restaurant was a lot smaller than I expected. We sat at the sushi bar, and it was a pretty tight fit with all the food and plates that you need. Overall, they have a good selection of broths for the hot pot but their sauce bar is a little weak. The sauces are all in bottles - think cafeteria ketchup squirt bottles - so the consistencies of some of the sauces were too thick to combine together. They have different options that you can choose from for dinner - either hot pot & sushi or wagyu hot pot, KBBQ grill, & sushi. We did just the hot pot and sushi but for $10 pp more for the other option, it seems like a much better deal. I'd definitely recommend that!

Food was good! Tom yum was good and flavorful! Sushi was decent, the rice was cold from the sushi belt. Overall place is good and affordable

It was so nice the food was good and super fresh and it's really gorgeous ambiance, and the service they have was amazing, they're trying to fulfill all the needs you have, it's good to let your family know here, super nice!

So found this place on IG and of course IG made it seem like we HAD to eat this place. For some reason IG keeps disappointing me. So and away we went. To be fair I wasn't 100% disappointed. It was in a cool location minus quite a bit of tweekers shooting up in front of my kid or asking us for money every few minutes, it's actually in a prime location after dark. So it's on a corner lot and when we showed up it was not busy at all maybe a few patrons in the whole place and the whole place I would say is very small. There is maybe 10 tables and then a wrap around table thing that wraps around the sushi conveyor belt that you can grab what you want. We walked in and initial greeted and sat where we wanted to we decided we wanted to sit in front of the conveyor to get the full experience. We got our menus and began choosing what type of broth we wanted for our hot pot. I will say we waited a good 10 mins before our server even came for our drinks and the whole thing. I honestly think he was the only server. So if you come keep that in mind and just be patient. He's super nice. They did bring us water while we waited for him. But while we waited we began helping ourselves to the sushi conveyor belt thing which was cool and good. So our waiter came and took our orders. FYI if only one person wants the wagyu meal all must get it regardless. So we went with the regular meat selection because we didn't want to pay 50 bucks a person times 3 for only me wanting wagyu. So I ordered the spiciest broth, which honestly wasn't spicy at all but was still very delicious. The meats we ordered were brisket, bottom round and lamb. All were very good. Our favorite was the brisket. Very good cuts! Then he asked us what sashimi we wanted and tbh I can't remember the name but it was white tail something and I have NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ate raw fish before and I LOOOOOVED it. Found a new food I love! They also make you each per person whatever sushi roll you like besides the ones that come around in that conveyor belt. After we placed our order we got up to make our plates that we want to cook in our broth. This is where I was a bit disappointed. There wasn't much of a selection to make your dipping sauce and not much of a selection for cooking in your broth. There was some veggies and some other like fish and shellfish stuff and dumplings and noodles. But nothing like were use to at other hot pots. I'm more of a veggie girl so I was disappointed when a few of my favorite veggies I like at hot pots weren't there. It didn't ruin my night I still made the best of it because it was still a fun experience. Through the conveyor belt I did eat a ton of the green seaweed that's my freaking favorite. And as one of the alcoholic drinks I drank this peach saki which I could have drank like water because it was so freaking good!!! I highly recommend getting it you go. Overall the experience is cool and the area is totally horrible and if you're okay with a wait for your server it's worth it. For our meal we paid 39.99 a person which isn't bad for what all we got. I would go back again for sure.

The food was great not excellent and the service was bare minimum for good. But it was a super fun experience everyone should try at least once. We got the hotpot. He ordered mushroom soup base and I got Tom Yum, my favorite Thai soup. If you have never been to hot pot, you put additions like cabbage, mushrooms, noodles, shrimp, beef, etc in your soup base at your table and cook it for a minute or two and have soup. You also get your choice of sushi. You can also have edemame and seaweed salad. It is all so good.... But not "the best". They do have conveyer belt service around the bar. If you get the Tom Yum soup base take out the lime slices. Over time the rind will give the soup a bitter rind flavor. The flavor of the soup base when it first arrived was outstanding. The conveyor belt sushi was good and so were the fresh items. The yellowtail nigiri was cut large and was delicious. This is way better than average for an all you can eat spot. It's perfect for a day when you are very hungry and adventurous.
